1-12 Restoration of Judah and Israel
1-2 Ask the LORD for rain, because the household gods, diviners and dreamers utter nonsense, see lies, tell false dreams and give empty consolations, causing the people to wander like sheep without a shepherd.
3-5 The LORD is angry with the shepherds, and will raise up a strong army from his flock, the house of Judah.
6-7 He will strengthen and save Judah and Israel, and it will be like He never rejected them.
8-12 He will gather His people from Egypt and Assyria and will make them strong, destroying Assyria’s pride and Egypt’s scepter.
